merrry christmas!

hi ladies! i'm up late on christmas morn cuz i got back half an hour ago from the late-night christmas eve service at the CW church i grew up in. i went with the sister and the dad. it was fun to catch up with the 85 year old men (thank god they're still alive) who want to hear all the wild updates on my life.

in other news, i've been sick for a straight week which has sucked and caused me to not buy any christmas presents until today--for my dad and sis. luckily, on my mother's side, in the russian tradition, presents (to texas) can be late--and for "russian christmas" (which occurs in the beginning of january.

to you all--i wish you the merriest of christmas!!!
samantha and i are planning a little get-together in the city in the new year (god-willing!!) (when she takes a break from class), soo i can't wait to see her (and only wish she'd bring the whole clan).

now then, i'll get back to crocheting christmas presents for ric. that's right. he has requested crocheted presents. so i'm about to finish a pair of slippers. then, i'll move onto a scarf. from there, i dunno ... mittens ... coasters ... ?!?!
