Happy St. Patty's Day!
Things are well in CO. I had an excellent visitor last weekend...Ms. Erin Sweeney. She and I hung out in Denver Friday night and Saturday afternoon, where there was no snow and it was very warm. But she got her fill of CO living when we headed back to Vail and got stuck on I70. They had a closed about a ten mile stretch over Vail Pass b/c it was snowing. So we hung out at the outlet mall for a little over an hour and then made it back to Avon. The rest of the weekend was spent snowshoeing (hard work at 11,000 feet), tasting CO beer and visiting my second place of employment, ZaccaZa. It was great to have a visitor and I hope for many more. Hopefully, I will learn to ski/snowboard soon. Although John has mentioned coming to visit and go flyfishing this summer.
In other news I have been working a lot, contemplating life and finding ways to pass the time up here in the mountains. It has been very warm the past two weeks (minus the snow last Saturday). All the snow is gone and it has been in the 40s. I am just waiting for the tables to turn and it to start downpouring snow again. Ski season isn't over until the middle of April...so who knows.
I just finished watching XU vs OSU in the tourney. I was rooting for Xavier, but unfortunately they couldn't pull it off. Sports wise, the only school I hate more than XU is Ohio State.
Good to hear you are keeping busy Carrie. Did you find a roommate for Katie yet? Have mucho fun with Sam and on your Easter trip...such a grown up you are all these trips with your b/f...Erin too I guess, she is going on trip with her b/f too. Now if only I could find a b/f....
Can't wait to be in Dayton in a month! Tim's here I come!
