how old are you?
Hello all and a happy belated bday to Ms. Sweeney.
Not a lot new in Colorado. I finally have obtained a CO driver's license and am in the process of getting my CO plates for my car...so I am official.
A certain ex-neighbor of mine with the first name Ryan has contacted me. It seems he is in S. Dakota and would like to "swing through" on his way home to see me (it is 8 hours out of his way). I am not sure how excited I am about that.
I went out a couple of weekends ago and felt like I was in college again. I was there until the bar closed and took a taxi home with the people I was with. The entire next day I felt like crap. I am getting too old for this. I don't think in my entire four years of college I have ever felt as bad as I did that Sunday. But I did manage to buck up by the evening and go see Harry Potter with my roommate. It was very entertaining and possibly the best film thus far, although they did cut out a lot of stuff out, but it was a 1000 page book, so I suppose they had too.
I have also read that last book, so I know the secret, as my mom told me. I don't know how many of you have been reading the books, but I didn't like this one. It was slow, boring and I found a lot of the plot to be too convienent. The ending was okay, but the book as a whole wasn't. I think the Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite book.
Anyway, I also went on my first hike last weekend. It was beautiful. I hiked up to a waterfall in Vail. I think I might try another one tomorrow.
Hope you are all having wonderful summers counselling, (summer) breaking, working and whatever else you are doing!
