hey y'all!
news:
1) i quit my job as teacher-bitch to new york's finest children (haha .. it's a long story, but you guys know the basic idea: i left because it's a disastrous situation which needs serious changes and i couldn't find a way to make it work. not only did it suck to feel ineffective but i was also being made (more) crazy ... by the day ... which seemed would result in a dismal end.
2) so this is my first week at home without a job. i am still tutoring though which can bring in essentially the same income for half the work hours and 1% the stress level. ric even mentioned my taking a full-time position with the company ... an interesting proposition on a number of levels.
3) we are thinking about moving to a new apartment (the neighborhood is starting to weigh too heavily on our nerves). as the weather gets warmer and it gets lighter later, our neighbors begin to get louder and crazier. we feel it coming. we are looking at the upper upper west side (which would not be a far move) or somewhere in brooklyn or maybe even in queens. there are a lot of options and i intend to use some of my free time to play with this idea. :)
4) i went to colorado springs this weekend (on a tutoring job) and fell in love with megan's rockies. we could not reunite this time, but do plan to when i go back the weekend of april 5, 6.
